You will provide compassionate, one-on-one personal care and companionship to seniors and individuals in their own homes, allowing them to live with dignity, comfort, and independence. Our caregivers work alongside our Lead Care Manager to deliver the highest level of care, from assistance with activities of daily living to emotional support and companionship. You will be a trusted presence in the lives of our clients and their families. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide on-call support for last-minute caregiver call-offs Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Provide companionship and emotional support — build genuine relationships with clients Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment Follow individualized care plans and document care notes accurately after each visit Report any changes in client condition, behavior, or safety concerns to the office promptly Work alongside the Lead Care Manager on client assessments and first-day introductions Support coverage needs and fill in for unexpected scheduling gaps when needed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience with the senior population (required) Must be 21 years of age or older (some exceptions may apply) Own transportation and a valid driver's license + auto insurance Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plan instructions Familiarity with first aid procedures Current TB test with results Ability to pass a background check Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's, or memory care is a plus STNA or CNA certification is a plus — not required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using safe, ergonomic movements Ability to stand, walk, reach, crouch, and perform hands-on care throughout a shift Physically and mentally able to operate a vehicle and travel between client locations WORK SETTINGS Our caregivers serve clients across a variety of settings, including private residences, independent living communities, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities throughout the APPLY TODAY Join a growing team of dedicated professionals making a real difference in the lives of seniors and their families across the Pittsburgh area.
