Acts as back up for the Physician Advisor handling peer to peer appeals and written appeals when necessary. Performs secondary clinical assessment and documentation to support inpatient admissions as well as to support subacute, long term care(trach weaning necessity/settings) post discharge. Assists denials staff with open communication and feedback to medical staff in regards to denials due to level of care and insufficient documentation. Works collaboratively with care coordination manager in process improvement in regards to length of stay, denials and readmissions. Responsibilities Registered Nurse Inpatient Full Time Time Day Shift 7am-730pm Arrowhead Behavioral Health is a 48-bed psychiatric hospital located in Maumee, Ohio. We serve adult patients 18 years of age and older that need mental health and chemical dependency services. Inpatient offerings include treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal management and stabilization as well as mental health crisis management. Our outpatient services extend the continuum of care to include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs which allow patients to develop and utilize proper coping mechanisms to help establish a foundation for life.
