How you make a difference The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides assistance and collects data in the delivery of patient care in a correctional setting, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. As part of this role, the LVN directs and guides patient teaching and activities in accordance with their education, demonstrated competencies, and the Nursing Practice Act (NPA). The LVN works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and compliance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and Correctional Health Services policies. Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by the Health Care Practitioner, utilizing proper techniques and procedures. Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through the implementation of established protocols and precautions. Implement nutrition and therapeutic diets and assist in medical procedures as necessary to meet patient needs. Document nursing encounters and communicate information to healthcare staff and supervisory personnel. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Experience One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred Licenses/Certifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed. How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner (NP) under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and other site Physicians, offers a comprehensive range of medical services to incarcerated patients in accordance with established policy and state guidelines. They ensure necessary documentation of services is provided to the Site Medical Director or designee to monitor the provision of clinical services. Additionally, they communicate scheduling changes to the Medical Director and H.S.A. and make arrangements for coverage of medical services if unavailable for an extended period of time. Nurse Practitioner - Neonatal

Overview Position Overview Legacy Health offers an exciting growth opportunity to join a well-established team of collaborative and energetic Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs). This role provides the opportunity to practice across both Level III and Level IV NICU settings within the Legacy system. NNPs are integral to delivery attendance and the medical management of high-risk neonates and infants, including daily rounding on NNP service patients. In addition to clinical care, the role includes telemedicine resuscitation coverage for Legacy Level I nursery sites and opportunities to contribute to non-clinical initiatives that support the highest standards of care for NICU patients and their families. Level IV NICU – Randall Children’s Hospital The Level IV, 45-bed NICU is located within Randall Children’s Hospital, a freestanding, nine-story pediatric facility. This unit provides comprehensive care supported by a full range of pediatric subspecialties, including cardiac and neurosurgical services, genetics, and ECMO. Care is delivered within a family-integrated model, supported by a dedicated pediatric transport team. Notably, this role does not require transport responsibilities. Level III NICU – Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center The Level III, 22-bed NICU at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center is a growing unit actively expanding its NNP team. Scheduling is flexible and evolving, with 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shift options available to support work-life balance and team coverage. Scheduling & Practice Model This position is based in the Portland/Vancouver area and requires dual licensure in Oregon and Washington. NNPs rotate between both NICU sites, with frequency tailored to individual preferences while ensuring 24/7 coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A well-established self-scheduling model and structured holiday tracks contribute to provider satisfaction and balance. Discharge Planning: The entire NICU team works to provide an integrated family care experience to enable families to care for their high-risk infants within the NICU setting and beyond. The NICU values input from all members of the team including dedicated neonatal RT’s, consultants from dietary, OT/PT, lactation, as well as the core nursing, medical and leadership staff. Qualifications Education: As required by licensure. Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as an NICU Staff Nurse, Level III preferred. Licensure Current applicable state RN license required. National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required. Current applicable state license as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NNP-PP) required. Ensures that the facility policy on the use of restraints is followed and that documentation is timely and accurate. Ensure that the unit is kept clean free from clutter and that the supply room door is kept locked; request the supervisor’s intervention as necessary to achieve this. Follows infection control standards and ensures that assigned personnel do likewise. Keep abreast of new nursing policies and procedures. Keep nurses notes, plan of care and all other documentation pertaining to your assigned resident timely accurate and complete. Carries out end of shift responsibility e.g. supplies are available for next shift’. Unit is clean and tidy; all documentation is complete and accurate. Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator. Qualifications Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited RN program. New York State RN License Required New York State RN Registration Certificate Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred Current BCLS certification Experience One (1) year clinical experience in a pediatric and/or adolescent chronic /rehabilitative care facility preferred. Employee Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently. Must meet or exceed all health standards and requirements for the position as established by NYDOH and all other regulatory agencies. Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this Center which includes a medical and physical examination. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds. Perform tasks that may involve exposure to the resident’s blood/body fluids. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents, if necessary. Working Conditions: Will work in a well-lighted and ventilated area. Will be subject to frequent interruptions. May be asked to work beyond normal working hours, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Salary Range: $117,204.63/Yr to $141,254.63/Yr
