Understand the agency’s policies regarding appropriate patient discharge and reasons for discharge. Qualifications Must have a current RN license (state-specific). Valid BLS certification. Minimum one year of experience in home health or a healthcare facility. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. Possess a solid understanding of professional nursing principles and home health documentation. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable and insured vehicle. Ability to visit homes that may not be wheelchair accessible.
