Your Role on the Team Position Summary Effectively coordinates all aspects of the trauma performance improvement and patient safety processes including systems and peer review processes. The P.I. Coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance of processes related to multidisciplinary trauma peer review and internal trauma systems issues including case reviews, identification of issues (provider and system), tracking and trending of complications/audit filters/issues, and maintenance of appropriate files and data systems. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and problem solving skills. Demonstrates detailed knowledge of trauma hospital PIPS requirements, the trauma standard of care across the continuum and the operations of the hospital trauma system. Job Summary Provides quality patient care to critically ill patients, through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Serves as a patient advocate at all times. Supervises the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers. Develops the plan for nursing care as a result of coordination with the patient, family and staff of other disciplines as necessary. Applies critical thinking in order to promote positive clinical outcomes. Ensures patient education. Participates in discharge planning. Deliver personalized wellness plans, conduct health assessments, perform routine screenings, manage chronic conditions, and guide patients toward optimal health. Hours of operation: Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open on all Holidays. Available to work every other weekend and some holidays. Single-provider coverage and physician(s) available by phone. Physician at location on most Sundays. Required Experience and Competencies Licensed Nurse Practitioner required. BLS, DEA, and National Certification required. Expert in IV placement. Previous experience in the following areas is beneficial. Candidates open to training are encouraged to apply: clearance medical exam/intake for a variety of therapies/modalities, weight loss management GLP, hormone therapy. Create curated treatment plans for patients that encompass both conventional and non-conventional medical modalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and treatment plans for clients. Develop personalized weight loss plans, including dietary recommendations, exercise regimen, and behavior modification strategies, including prescribing and administering weight loss medications and injections. Administer IV hydration therapy to provide quick rehydration and replenishment of essential nutrients.
