Summary The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Provider (1.0 FTE) to deliver high-quality inpatient neurosurgical care under the supervision of faculty physicians. The APP will provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting (floor/ICU) and will not have outpatient clinic responsibilities. The candidate is expected to demonstrate clinical excellence, strong critical thinking skills, and collaborative engagement with multidisciplinary teams to support complex neurosurgical patients. The Pain Medicine Department is dedicated to diagnosing and developing the best treatment options for patients with cancer pain. To do this efficiently, care from the cancer pain service starts with a comprehensive assessment, our physicians then create a plan for each patient's needs and condition. Patients are reassessed frequently, allowing physicians to adjust treatment plans as needed. UT MD Anderson has a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider opportunity in its Pain Medicine department. The ideal candidate must have the degree requirements as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) or Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners (TSBPAE) as required for clinical licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant. Our ICU has 55 beds and 230 employees; the ICU at MD Anderson provides patient focused care through a multidisciplinary team approach. Quality and patient outcomes are at the heart of our practice.
