RN Supervisor Day Shift RN Supervisor DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The RN Supervisor assumes primary nursing responsibilities for the management of resident and staff activities. The RN Supervisor utilizes nursing practice and management skills and ensures resident care is administered in accordance the company’s policies and procedures. Directs the formulation and implementation of resident’s care plan to meet specialized needs of geriatric residents using assessment and diagnostic skills. Serves as professional role model to the other staff. RN Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or equivalent experience. Current license to practice as an RN. Previous experience in a nursing home leadership capacity. ACLS preferred Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 37.5 hours per week Full Time Essential Functions The Radiology RN Coordinator organizes and administers individualized, age specific nursing care across Radiology with a primary focus on Interventional Radiology IR and IV Access The role ensures timely completion of IR exams and IV access procedures, validates appropriateness criteria for vascular access, maintains billing and work queues, and provides direct oversight of the IV Access Team The Radiology RN Coordinator nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. The RN Coordinator collaborates with the IR Manager to oversee work queues, run safety huddles, coordinate schedules, and provide backup leadership The Radiology RN Coordinator assures safety in practice and is inclusive of the principles of evidence-based practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available. The Radiology RN Coordinator is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors. The Radiology RN Coordinator is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served. The Radiology RN Coordinator is responsible for supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers. The Radiology RN Coordinator is responsible for consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. The Radiology RN Coordinator is an individual practitioner and the interdisciplinary team manager, utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs.
