Coordinate and assist as needed with fetal surgery cases. Provide patient care, which may include assessment, administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status during appointments. Collaborate with social work support for additional patient socioeconomic needs and counseling needs during the prenatal and postnatal period. Create and maintain medical records in patient’s electronic medical record (EPIC) and The Fetal Care Center database (RedCap). Communicate and review plan of care with additional specialists within MFM and pediatric subspecialties. Attend and participate in education, outreach and case conferences that represent and promote The Fetal Care Center. Assist with creating teaching tools for families regarding various diagnoses, plan of care and other educational materials.
