UNIT Summary: AJB is our lower acuity area (step-down). Nurses in this area would have mixed acuity competencies. Babies are in 3:1 ratios with some 4:1s that would have a Care partner. Babies could have vapotherm, Bubble C-pap up to 6 for both. Over 30 weeks corrected. Monday - Friday: PRN 8am - 4:30pm (8 hours a day/ PRN) Preop phone calls for surgical patients. GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Obtaining a preop health history and pertinent information from patients to make sure they are properly evaluated prior to surgery.
