Plans for, leads, coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and service for a defined population of patients and facilitates the procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility and teamwork. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment.
