Position Summary: The School Nurse (R.N.) provides professional nursing services to support the health and wellness of students and staff. This position plays a critical role in the educational environment by addressing the physical, emotional, and social health needs of students, promoting a safe and healthy school climate, and coordinating care with families and community health providers. The School Nurse also supports compliance with health mandates and ensures that school health policies are upheld. Oncology Nurse Residency Program - New Graduate Nurse (Research Track - CCTI)

The nurse resident’s responsibilities during this year-long position will focus on the successful transition into clinical nursing practices, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a complex patient population. Upon successful completion of this program, residents may apply for a posted permanent employment position at DFCI.
