Job Summary The MA role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of Nursing Director. May be required to assist in treatment procedures, obtaining teaching material for patients at the discretion of the provider, assisting in coordination of specialty lab draws for genetics or early detection teams, ordering and organizing educational materials to reinforce patient education, and fitting patients for Cold Caps. Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, downloading external records and reports, while acting as a liaison with other areas of the clinic, and advocating for patients with a positive customer service approach. Participate in departmental quality initiatives, such as requirement of check two patient identifiers and adhering to all hand hygiene and infection control policies.
