Education: Completion of an accredited program recognized by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or Formal structure surgical program, (e.g., military services) Experience: Five (5) years post program experience as a Surgical Tech in an acute care setting with similar patient case load, to include two (2) years specifically in the LPCHS OR (Operating Room). The two (2) year LPCHS - OR - experience for external candidates/new hires, three (3) years of direct service experience in a particular service in need of an expert and six (6) months of LPCHS experience, in which case the two (2) year LPCHS OR experience could be waived. We are seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the East Bay Area in CA, and surrounding areas . A Field Case Manager role is a home-based position with travel, up to 2 hours one-way (4 hours round trip per appointment). These appointments would be to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and various other locations. There may be multiple appointments in 1 day. This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals.
