Job Profile Summary This role focuses on providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Nursing Leadership duties: Controls, directs, and participates in the activities of the organization through a hierarchy of managers and supervisors. Job Overview The Clinical Manager oversees the daily clinical and administrative operations of designated unit(s). The Clinical Manager prepares staff schedules, requests, and allocates resources and ensures that patient care is aligned with the goals, mission, and vision of Tufts Medicine. Job Description Minimum Qualifications: 1. Massachusetts RN Licensure. 2. 5 Years of RN Experience with at least 1 year as a charge/lead RN. 3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. 4. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Allocates resources and coordinates services to optimize patient care and services. 10. Develops and monitors operating and capital budget; implements strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 11. Performs performance reviews with staff. 12. Participates in staff interview process, provides direction and discipline to staff as appropriate, and orients new staff to facility. 13. Creates and fosters a learning environment that facilities the professional growth and development of staff. 14. Develops and implements processes to enhance operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement. 15. Develops, implements, and monitors written policies and procedures. 16. Leads and/or participates in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary teams, committees, councils and special projects. 17. Plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care in accordance with standards of practice. Physical Requirements: 1. Occasional lifting of 30-35 lbs and turning patients. 2. Prolonged standing and walking. 3. Occasional twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. 4. Exposure to infectious disease and possible carcinogenic chemicals. 5.
