Previous phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred. • Maintain appropriate inventory of immunizations and monitor expiration dates. • Administer immunizations, as applicable, when appropriately certified or when the employee meets established experience requirements and is working under the supervision of a qualified provider. • Support departmental quality and safety initiatives, including adherence to patient identification requirements, hand hygiene, infection prevention practices, and other established clinical standards. • Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach when interacting with patients and families, responding to questions and concerns and escalating clinical concerns to the appropriate nursing or provider staff. • Perform other administrative and clinical support duties as assigned based on departmental needs, training, and competency.
