Checks and records vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Answers to patient calls and needs. May aide patients being transported to and from appointments. All other duties, as assigned. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Skills and Abilities: Good collaboration and teamwork skills with the nursing staff. Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Meets all health requirements, as required by law. Minimum Requirements: Current Registered Nursing license within the state of practice. Minimum of one year mother / baby experience preferred. Minimum of one year acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred. Current BLS Card. Current Health Certificate (if applicable). Current PPD or chest x-ray.
