FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Role Summary The Cath Lab/IR nurse provides clinical care to a variety of patients in the procedural area. The Cath Lab/IR nurse will assist the procedural physician by managing critical medications, providing oversight of patient hemodynamic status, sedation level, as well as document all aspects of the procedure. The Cath Lab/IR nurse will also be responsible for prepping and recovering patients from procedures and providing all necessary patient education and support. This position also requires the nurse to be comfortable practicing with a high-level of autonomy typically acquired from at least 2 years of intensive nursing experience in a unit such as critical care, cath lab, interventional radiology, or the ER.
