Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Gynecology Location: Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, PA) and satellite locations Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday Position Summary Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or CRNP) to join our Gynecology team. This role is ideal for someone interested in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to women with a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions as well as gynecologic cancer survivors. The APP will play an integral role in providing comprehensive outpatient evaluation, treatment, survivorship care, and care coordination while collaborating closely with gynecologic surgeons, gynecologic oncology providers, and a multidisciplinary care team. The APP will work alongside dedicated physicians and fellow APPs in both shared and independent clinic settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing benign gynecologic conditions, providing long-term surveillance and survivorship care for patients following treatment for gynecologic malignancies, coordinating care across specialties, and participating in quality improvement and educational initiatives. Under the supervision of a physician, the nurse practitioner visits patients, completes physical assessments, performs face to face assessments and evaluates hospice eligibility as assigned in consultation with the hospice interdisciplinary team. The nurse practitioner builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care 1. Provides medical care, palliates and manages terminal illness in compliance with the state Nurse Practice Act under the supervision of a collaborating physician. 2.
