Job Requirements Responsible for system-wide/multi-hospital placement of patients into available beds 24 hours/7 days a week. Participate in meetings regarding decanting or repatriation and facilitate system-oriented patient movement. Escalate concerns regarding throughput to Physician Administrative Officer, Central Intensivist Physician, administrator on call, or other hospital leadership as needed. Description Job Responsibilities: Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations Greet and register patients as they arrive Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake Prepare patients for X-rays Perform and document routine labs, such as throat and urine cultures (venipuncture experience preferred) Irrigate and assist with wounds Assist in performing quality control testing in the lab Be an integral part of the patient care team and assist with patient care within the scope of practice Keep exam rooms and front reception stocked with adequate supplies Maintain order and cleanliness of the waiting room area Practice standard safety practices and precautions Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies and notifying medical team (nurse, urgent care tech, and physician) Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to management team Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and challenging requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Assistant patients with complaints and taking an active role in service recovery when needed Perform other duties as needed including apply splints and assisting the nurse and/or provider in other medical procedures Provide exceptional customer services Qualifications High school diploma or GED Prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant Knowledge or EKG placement and processing in children Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab, and venipuncture Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor Strong communications and organizational skills Prior pediatric experience Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office Suite Willing to learn medical software Experience with medical records preferred Compensation: $17 - $27/hour The salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role. Nurse Supervisor-RN

$41 - $46 / hour
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervising the medical care of all patients from registration to departure; Supervising clinical personnel on their patient contact, care, and performance; Scheduling Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants; Reviewing and supervising the inventory of medicines, prescriptions, and supplies; Acting as Patient First representative for the Director of Medical Support and the Medical Director in his or her absence to ensure smooth operation of the center; Functioning as an administrator and working as a Staff Nurse as needed; Reviewing all checklists of Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants; Preparing written and verbal evaluations for Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants at appropriate scheduled time, or when necessary; Providing positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions; Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere; Completing other duties as directed. Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Employee must be at least 18 years of age; High school graduate or equivalent; Keyboarding experience required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; One year of clerical experience preferred; One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred; One year of supervisory experience preferred; Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Maryland.
