We are looking for a Regional Nurse Manager to join our Nursing team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. As a core member of the Nursing team, you will be expected to oversee all of the regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care and quality assurance. Responsibilities Ensures that nursing services are provided to patients in a professional and appropriate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements and accepted clinical standards. Ensures that policies and procedures comply with all applicable regulatory requirements. May require understanding of nursing regulations in more than one state, including ongoing updates and new regulations Oversees patient care coordination with the Pharmacy staff and with outside Nursing agencies as indicated. Participates in the branch Quality Assurance program, assuring that local metrics include nursing quality improvement initiatives. Monitors quality improvement activities and compliance to policies and procedures with QA tools and regular audits. Oversees hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision and discipline of nursing staff within the region Oversees coordination of activities of the nursing staff. Provides safe and professional nursing care to infusion patients. Care includes patient education, direct patient care, ongoing clinical monitoring, care planning and care coordination. Ensures 24/7 day availability of nursing care using on-call nurses after business hours. Oversees on-call schedule. Supports sales staff in growing new business by accompanying them on sales calls to discuss clinical services and programs, contributes to the development of marketing tools and programs, marketing documentation, and clinical programs. Develops and presents in-services to referrals sources. Considers the needs and behaviors of specific patient age groups and cultures. Manages the Breast Pump Discharge Program to assure all mothers have a pump at home upon once discharged. Promotes own professional growth and development. Serves as a support and resource for the education of other health professionals. Educates parents on all aspects of infant feeding and assures all patients have discharge resources to support infant feeding after discharge. Assures compliance with standards and regulations promulgated by all applicable agencies. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program. NY State RN License/BLS Certification Current Certification by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (I.B.L.C.E.). Lactation Consultant Course. Minimum of 2 years Certified Lactation RN experience. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and creative problem solving ability..
