Main Function: Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager, performs duties in the care and treatment of patients on maintenance dialysis. We are seeking a Registered Nurse who has at least 1 year of experience, caring for patients on dialysis four days a week. Candidate must be licensed in New York and have current BCLS certification. We are currently looking for a female aide to assist with a patient who has Alzheimer’s and is under hospice care. The patient requires help with personal care, incontinence care, companionship, repositioning to prevent bedsores, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). Shift Details: Sundays : 8 AM - 12 PM & 4 PM - 12 AM Monday - Thursday : 8 AM - 12 PM 24 hours total a week Requirements: Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey . Experience with Alzheimer's and hospice care is a plus, but not required. Compassionate, reliable, and patient. Job Responsibility Manages and leads team members, operations and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift. Collaborates with team members and nursing management in the development of methods, techniques and analytical approach to patient care. Communicates, builds consensus, and guides team members toward achieving department objectives. Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Creates a professional work environment that encourages team member respect, engagement, accountability and optimal patient outcomes.
