QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required plus graduation from a formal MA, LPN or RN training program and 2+ years of experience providing clinical care, ideally in primary care. National or state-specific MA, LPN or RN certification (dependent on local regulations). Must be able to give injections, complete EKGs, and perform other office-based procedures. Support crisis intervention, referrals, transfers, and emergency or involuntary treatment processes as allowed by scope of practice and guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master in Science of Nursing or Post-Master’s Certificate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Experience Minimum one (1) year of experience as a PMHNP required. Corrections experience in a PMHNP role preferred. Licenses/Certifications Unrestricted current license to practice as a PMHNP in the state of practice. Current board certification as a PMHNP. Current DEA Registration. Current BLS certification.
