Responsibilities Job Summary This position requires a thorough understanding of the facility’s treatment program and philosophy, admission process and criteria, support and administrative services, medical knowledge of various aspects of substance abuse and dual diagnosis patient care. The Admissions Nurse is a member of the treatment team providing professional level of nursing care to patients under minimum supervision and consultation. Maintain safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel as needed. Protect clients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations. Document patient care services by charting in client and department records.
