Job Description​ Our GI clinic in North Kansas City is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team! This position is approximately 70% on the phones and 30% rooming. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, equally comfortable dealing with insurance companies and patient concerns. On the phones, you will work with prior authorizations, medication refills, scheduling, referrals, and procedure follow up care. Manages and directs patient flow within the clinical area. 14. May relieve the nurse supervisor and medical assistants as necessary. 15. Orders basic clinic supplies and stock medications. 16.
