Job Overview Fairview is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Dermatology Care Team at our Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis. This full-time, benefits-eligible position (80 hours per pay period) offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where every day brings variety, learning, and meaningful patient connections. Our typical patient population consists of patients with observable chest pain, ruling out anything cardiac related, stroke patients, and alcohol withdrawal. We prepare and recover our patients for stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms/stent placement, ablations, pacemakers and ICD insertions, and open heart surgery. Our unit cares for many patients with heart failure and cardiac arrythmias needing IV drips. A member of the interdependent team led by a designated RN, is accountable to perform patient care duties and activities for a group of patients. Performs such care as vital sign checks, bladder scanning, blood sugar testing, documentation of cares provided. Reports patient care data and progress of outcomes to designated RN. University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care service. Practice Details: Provide inpatient care for critically ill patients in a hybrid role between an intensive care unit and as a critical response provider. While working on the MHealth Fairview Critical Care system APP team you will get a variety of experiences. Though always the potential to float between ICU services (including University SICU or MICU, FSH Med/Surg ICU and West Bank ICU), each APP has a primary ICU they are assigned for the majority of their FTE. There is a strong interdisciplinary culture on all the critical care services whether they are at the teaching hospital or one of the non-teaching services. In either environments, you will be working closely with academic Critical Care physicians and an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers, caring for patients with a diverse range of urgent and emergent needs. In addition, approximately 30% of our shifts are responding with the West Bank Rapid Response team. As a critical response provider you will provide urgent and emergent response and evaluation for treatment of adult patients throughout the University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank, including inpatients (primarily orthopedic, med/psych and maternal), acute/transitional rehabilitation patients and inpatient psychiatric patients. You will be working autonomously with telephone support and collaboration from critical care attendings who are not on site. You will make rapid assessment and treatment decisions in accordance with American Heart Association, Neurocritical Care Society and current standards of care. We are currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Orthopedic/Surgical unit. This position is a .6 FTE straight Evening shifts. 8-hour shifts M-F and 12 hour shifts every third weekends. Current RN License Required. Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience is preferred. An RN position in the Orthopedic/Surgical Unit at Gillette Children's involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients under 18 who are recovering from surgery and require an inpatient stay of one or more nights. In addition to post-surgical care, nurses in this unit also care for non-surgical patients needing medical treatment that requires a short hospital stay. RNs in this role collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to manage pain, wound care, and recovery, while also educating families about the treatment process.
