Cherry Hill OB/GYN, is seeking a Full-Time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) . 3 New Jersey Office Locations: Mount Laurel, Turnersville, and Hammonton Team: 8 Physicians, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Certified Nurse Midwife Role is Monday through Friday, 8 hours. 4 daytime shifts & 1 evening shift per week. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive, specialized care to women across the lifespan, focusing on reproductive health, gynecological issues, family planning, and wellness promotion. Practices under the standard procedure established for the Nurse Practitioner role consistent with company policy and in accordance with all legal requirements. Conducts age-appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol. Provides expert, compassionate care for women during the menopausal transition (perimenopause, menopause, postmenopausal) by managing symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep issues, educating patients on treatment options (hormonal/non-hormonal), offering lifestyle advice (diet, exercise, supplements), and supporting overall well-being with evidence-based care. Manages prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum visits, screening for pregnancy complications and evaluating physical and mental wellbeing after birth. Confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to ensure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy. Consults with supervising physicians or other clinicians as dictated by patient needs and assessment findings. Provides expert, compassionate care for women during the menopausal transition (perimenopause, Menopause, postmenopausal) by managing symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep issues, educating patients on treatment options (hormonal/non-hormonal), offering lifestyle advice (diet, exercise, supplements), and supporting overall well-being with evidence-based care. Manages prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum visits, screening for pregnancy complications and evaluating physical and mental wellbeing after birth. Confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to ensure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
