Position Summary: We are looking for an Advanced Practice Nurse to work at St. Luke’s Hospital, the pediatric flagship hospital within a three-hospital system in southeastern Massachusetts, in collaboration with pediatricians within the Boston Children’s Hospital Network. Key Responsibilities: Providing pediatric urgent care in a Level II trauma center, with current pediatric volumes estimated at 20,000 patients per year. Managing a variety of urgent and emergent complaints. Performing minor procedures including laceration repairs, incision and drainage, and splinting Collaborating with pediatric, respiratory therapy, and nursing teams to deliver high-quality, family-centered care. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and program development, including applying Boston Children’s Hospital derived evidenced based guidelines. Supporting education and simulation-based training across interdisciplinary teams Providing clinical coverage primarily in the evenings for 8 hour shifts.
