Purpose of Your Job Position: The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors. Mentor, onboard, and provide ongoing education, skills validations, and in-service training for new and existing clinical staff. Maintain and update clinical teaching materials, workflows, and Epic-integrated protocols. Develop, implement, and update urology clinical workflows, protocols, and patient education standards to ensure consistency across all practice locations. Monitor adherence to clinical protocols, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with providers to improve workflow efficiency. Monitor Epic work queues to identify and resolve operational concerns. Collaborate with providers and managers regarding scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization, including redistributing responsibilities during shortages or high patient volumes. Oversee prior authorization workflows related to medications, diagnostic imaging, procedures, and specialty testing. Assist staff with the coordination of clinical testing, procedures, patient follow-up, and timely documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives utilizing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and staff performance. Assist leadership with reporting, audits, and compliance goals.
