Works with MAs, LPNs, and MA Floater to ensure all refill and prior authorization requests in combination with To Do tasks requests to ensure all items are being handled in a timely fashion at respective locations. Assist office management in supervising/finding coverage for necessary shifts should there be a support staff call out, emergency, or PTO taken; steps in and covers shifts on any emergency needs. Must exude a strong understanding of and enforce CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA regulations as well as report and help document any incidents to the respective office management. Properly cross trains to assist in covering the front desk during emergencies, as needed. Must be open to handling any other duties not mentioned above to ensure proper support to the respective office. Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis. Qualifications: 2 - 3 years of experience working in a dermatology/medical environment required. Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred. Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent patient relation and customer services skills. Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee. Must have strong critical thinking, problem resolution skills and be a great multitasker. Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment. Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
