The unit will have substantial telemetry monitoring and a medication room to promote safe patient care. About the Job: The Resource Nurse directly oversees and serves as an immediate, first line clinical resource to staff on a designated unit and shift. The Resource Nurse demonstrates well developed clinical competencies appropriate to specialty area when providing direct patient care or guiding other staff. Following standard work procedures and messaging policy, respond to the patient phone portal message on the same day. Use standing protocols to complete pre-visit work, close gaps in care, administrate vaccines, and complete prescription refills. May schedule pre‑admission and diagnostic testing and place follow-up calls to patients after surgery. May perform any of the following daily administrative duties of the practice: greeting/check-in/check-out, scheduling patients, answering telephones, taking messages, organizing patient charts, filing, pulling and copying patient records, collection of co-pays and patient balances, post-payment and adjustment transactions, and balance daily journal. Maintains and adheres to established Core Physicians policies and procedures and federal regulations, including, patient confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards; responsible for participating in the daily huddle and completing any actions required and working as a member of the care team to ensure proper communication between all team members. In some practices, the MA may perform scribing duties; accompany the provider into the patient examination room and accurately and efficiently document the encounter; order any labs, make referrals, and order prescriptions that have been recommended by the provider. Responsible for monitoring care team metrics to evaluate improvement metrics and outcome. Provides coverage for other Core Offices as needed, based on priorities, and performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: The Surgical Technician is responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room. May perform any of the following duties with the goal of preparing the room and the patient for the surgical procedure: Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery Preparing the patient for surgery Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation Taking a count of all surgical sponges and sharps prior to the operation Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery Stocking rooms, picking supplies for cases, assisting with departmental daily tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma / GED; completion of a Scrub Technician Certification Program. 1-2 years of operating room experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties, including Ortho. CST & BLS Certification.
