The Transport Nurse will utilize critical thinking skills to assess the patient and follow established protocols to prioritize care needed for safe transport by air or ground of the critical patient to the appropriate facility. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate Degree Experience: 2 years of RN experience in pediatrics critical care, labor and deliver or neonatal. Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse BLS - American Heart Association ACLS (as applicable) NRP (as applicable) PALS (as applicable) Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Position Summary The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides comprehensive health care for assigned patients/community as determined by scope of practice guidelines and specialty.
