The new 100-bed facility is a combined critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the Rush University Medical Center campus. The RUSH Specialty Hospital is outfitted with the latest technology and features 44 critical illness recovery and 56 inpatient rehabilitation beds. Department/division specs Work alongside three fellow LTACH APPs in collaboration with Rush University Hospitalists and Select Medical. Duties & Responsibilities Rotating 10-hour shift schedule covering a 24-hour service 76, 12-hour shifts/year (at 0.50 FTE) Will report directly to the Hospital Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider 100% inpatient Preferred Qualifications Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care or related specialty is preferred, not required. Relevant RN experience may be considered. APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification.
