Registered Nurse - PRN

For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Cambridge, MA. The scheduled hours are as needed to cover during the clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 3:30p. What You’ll Do Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care Performs other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
