Job Summary Follows the nursing process for patients admitted to same day surgery for endoscopy, OR, IV therapy, minor surgery, or IR procedures; communicates with surgeon, endoscopist, interventional radiologist, anesthesia care provider, any other physician or PA; provides report to OR RN, endoscopy nurse, or IR nurse and anesthesia care provider about patient’s relevant patient medical/surgical history and medication allergies; assists patient recovery in Phase 2; accurately documents and charges patient; includes family in patient care and education when possible. Has working knowledge of monitoring patient’s vital signs and taking appropriate actions based on the results and airway management. Essential Functions Ensuring a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit, working within company policies and procedures. Providing technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice. Setting, monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of nursing care. Maintaining personal contact with patients and relatives, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy and ensuring a friendly environment at all times. Maintaining timely and accurate nursing records and ensuring that confidentiality is respected. Storing, checking and administering drugs in accordance with established standards and guidelines Working with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery of patients and other related procedures Contributing to the local resolution, investigation and follow up action of any informal or formal complaints. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Clinical Quality & Resource Nurse serves as a clinical resource for ICU staff while promoting excellence in patient care through quality improvement initiatives, concurrent chart review, regulatory compliance, documentation auditing, and staff education. Details The Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (HHA) position works under the direction of a Case Manager and is responsible for providing resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans and as directed by nursing management. The HHA works with other licensed care staff to coordinate the proper types of care to residents and strictly follows all Company nursing policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines. Qualifications Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and HHA leadership Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team Able to work independently and on your own on a day-to-day basis Must be willing to drive with your own, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance HHA in the state(s) of New Jersey required CPR certified
