Infection Preventionist Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures the leadership and direct care staff (all departments) are well-trained through both regular in-services as well as in-the-moment training and they demonstrate competency in infection prevention. Investigates outbreaks to study potential causes as well as appropriateness of the response. Nurse Supervisor Prepares and oversees nursing schedule, coordinating with other nurses to ensure all shifts are covered. Coaches staff on areas of improvement and provide positive reinforcement for job well-done. Maintains security of all medications within the facility, ensuring the inventory of all medications and records as needed. Reviews Medication Log for accuracy. Assists in the training and onboarding process of new team members (nurses and RAs) and reinforces training standards to maintain a high quality.
