The NCC in this role functions in both a managerial and clinical role and assures adherence to and support of institutional philosophy and policy in nursing practice. Through collaboration with other disciplines and with nursing colleagues on other shifts, the Nursing Care Coordinator promotes continuity of approach in both the managerial and clinical areas.
