Summary The Ambulatory RN 2 identifies patterns of patient responses and can use past experiences to implement solutions for current situations. The Ambulatory RN 2 is a competent nurse who has mastered technical skills and utilizes evidence based interventions. The Ambulatory RN 2 continues to collaborate with other members of the health care team when the need for assistance is identified. Other Information Required Job Qualifications: Current license and credentials by the state they are assigned. At least one year of nursing experience required. Earned Nursing Degree at the Baccalaureate level or higher for those hired after January 1, 2014. All transfers to Rush University Medical Center or Rush University Medical Group from other Rush entities must have an earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher prior to the transfer. Chief Nursing Officer must provide approval for any RNs with ADN degree hired after 10/22/2020, based upon unit need. ADN RNs hired after 10/22/2020 must show continued enrolment towards a BSN degree with a signature of contract stipulating a BSN degree must be completed within 3 years of hire, Failure to do so will result in termination. ADN RNS are not eligible for leveling to RN3. Current CPR Certification. Analytical ability. Communication skills in order to lead and teach. Overview Nursing Supervisor Full-Time Salary Range $ 90,443.87-$ 139,150.00 Monday-Friday Arlington Heights, IL Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient care, within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Other Information Qualifications Knowledge: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required. Maintain current BLS certification. Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher (except RN1s hired and already working at Rush University Medical Center before October, 2012). All transfers from other Rush entities must have an earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher prior to transfer into Rush University Medical Center or Rush University Medical Group. May accept Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) effective 1/9/23 up until approved number of ADN hires by Chief Nursing Officer is met with the following stipulations: Baccalaureate degree must be earned within timeframe outlined in the ADN Condition of Employment. ii. A staff nurse is a registered professional nurse (RN) who manages patient centered care that is outcome directed. Patient centered care principles and professional nursing practice standards provide the foundation for the nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care provided. The staff nurse assumes the primary responsibility and accountability for all patient care personally provided and that provided by those directly under her/his supervision.
