Job Summary The Community-Based Nurse, Lifestyle Medicine & Clinical Research is responsible for promoting health, preventing chronic disease, and improving health outcomes through evidence-based lifestyle interventions, community outreach, and clinical research activities. This unique role combines community health nursing, lifestyle medicine, and research coordination to address population health needs and support health equity initiatives. Working collaboratively with the Program Director and interdisciplinary stakeholders, the Community-Based Nurse conducts community health assessments, develops and implements wellness programs, and coordinates clinical research and quality improvement projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about culturally competent care, community engagement, and empowering individuals and families to achieve sustainable health behavior changes. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey required Current and valid driver's license, vehicle registration, inspection, and appropriate automobile insurance coverage required Minimum two (2) years of experience in community health, public health nursing, or a related healthcare field required Minimum two (2) years of experience in clinical research, quality improvement, or a related healthcare setting required Certification or formal training in Lifestyle Medicine preferred, such as through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Completion of Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Clinical Research Coordinator training or other applicable CITI certification preferred Experience working with diverse, underserved, and vulnerable populations preferred Bilingual language skills preferred Strong organizational, project management, and
