Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted registered nurse with current license in state of NY Two (2)+ years of experience working as an RN in a Critical Care setting that contributes to proficiency in infusion therapy (such as medical surgical unit, ED, ICU, post-anesthesia care, or similar setting) Experience with lab draws, IV infusions, and reconstitution of medications Strong experience with working with a variety of pumps (CAAD, curling, etc) & troubleshooting issues that may arise Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance/registration Ability to handle specialty cases like IGG, IVIG, Solumedrol, etc. Have and maintain current CPR / BLS certification Knowledge of HIPAA patient privacy and data security requirements; OSHA employee protection regulations Hold current Malpractice Insurance Have experience with Microsoft Office to document and track patient care activity About Us: Founded in 2008, UniversaCare is a fully licensed and growing Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area and is continually expanding throughout the Northeast. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Centers Health Care is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to work the Weekends for our Skilled Nursing Facilities. LPN Openings Include: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions (ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!) DUTIES: Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted. Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature. Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed. Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed. May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene. Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work as a team member. Valid NY State LPN license.
