The team is trained to support several advanced cardiovascular and critical care modalities including Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), Impella CP, 5.0 and RP, LVAD implants with Heartmate 3, Extra-corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU): Surgical ICU equipped with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and state-of-the art continuous renal replacement technology. The only major referral care center and the only Level 1 trauma center and pediatric trauma center in the area.
