Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary WashU in St. Louis is seeking a passionate and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join its world-class Radiation Oncology team. As an essential member of the multidisciplinary outpatient clinic team, the APP will provide comprehensive care to individuals diagnosed with cancer, guiding them from initial diagnosis through acute treatment and into survivorship. This role offers a unique opportunity for the APP to immerse themselves in a variety of oncology specialties. While the APP will ultimately support a specific clinical area, they will work alongside other specialties to maximize professional growth. The department is highly invested in long-term professional success, the selected candidate will hit the ground running with a structured, intensive 2-to-3-month clinical orientation and competency pipeline. This specialized training builds a deep foundation in radiation oncology knowledge and features hands-on shadowing opportunities alongside direct mentorship from department experts, all seamlessly integrated into the standard 3-month credentialing process. Work-Life Balance: Monday through Friday clinic hours, (NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, OR CALL). Predictable Workflow: APP daily schedules are thoughtfully structured to accommodate new patients and follow-up. Weekly schedule is a 4x10 schedule (4 working days, 1 day off per week). Locations: The main clinic location is at the Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM).
