Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery $20,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months. Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE Shift length: 12 hours Start Time: 1900 Unit: Labor & Delivery Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts weekly, every third weekend and holidays by rotation Required qualifications: Current state RN license Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire ACLS and NRP are required within six (6) months of hire One (1) year of inpatient L&D experience Preferred qualifications: BSN preferred Five (5) years L&D, high-risk L&D or Charge nursing experience RNC-OB and/or RNC-EFM Certification Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
