JOB SUMMARY Home Matters Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors maintain independence and comfort in their own homes. As a Home Matters caregiver, you’ll provide essential daily living support, companionship, and personalized care to our clients. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, hygiene assistance, and mobility support. QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience with seniors RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Support mobility and transfers Provide companionship and emotional support Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for clients Follow care plans and communicate changes in condition to appropriate staff REQUIREMENTS 1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care Reliable transportation Familiarity with basic first aid procedures Valid driver’s license Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers Able to communicate clearly and effectively Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle WORKING ENVIRONMENT Agency office Client homes Skilled, Independent, and Assisted Living Communities COMPENSATION Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications BENEFITS Weekly Pay (Daily pay option available) Holiday pay at time and a half Performance-based pay raises Referral bonuses Paid time off 401K plan Supplemental insurance Vision and Dental coverage Mileage reimbursement Zingage annual benefits program offering exclusive discounts, perks, and rewards If you’re a caring and dependable individual looking to make a difference in your community, Home Matters Caregiving – Greater Philadelphia invites you to join our team!
