Responsibilities for a Unit Manager: Assume responsibility and accountability for resident care on Subacute Unit that has 50 beds. Oversees resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning possible for assigned unit. Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents with follow-up as necessary to Administrator and Director of Nursing. Actively participates in committee/programs as directed by Director of Nursing. Participates in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs . Qualifications for a Unit Manager Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in New Jersey. Valid BLS Certification (CPR) Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Central Nursing for Rehab is looking to hire an RN Wound nurse The RN Wound Care Nurse plays an integral role in the Clinical Nursing team in the facility. Through establishing a Wound Care program, and training the staff in proper protocol, the Wound Care Nurse ensures that each resident receives excellent wound care management and infection control. The Wound Care Nurse collaborates with the DON and nursing team on the floor to provide total care to each resident.
