Mother-Baby unit- The unit provides nursing care to post-partum patients, newborns, ante-partum patients and women with gynecological conditions. They will join the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division within one of the largest OBGYN & WH departments and residency programs in the country. Experience and expertise in fetal medicine/ultrasound from an AIUM certified facility is preferred along with a strong aptitude for, and commitment to, high risk, complex cases The Maternal Fetal Medicine division provides care to patients throughout the Bronx and southern Westchester counties. There are currently 9 attendings, 8 Fellows and 1 PA dedicated to inpatient service. In collaboration with the Generalist division, the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists co-manage the Labor & Delivery service across two hospitals with levels 3 and 4 NICU, averaging 5,100 total deliveries per year.
