Job Description The VP/CNO reports directly to the SVP/President, UCSF Health Network, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the System Chief Nurse Executive, UCSF Health. As a dyad partner to the Chief Medical Officer, UCSF Health Network, the CNO provides nursing leadership of clinical operations across the Network, aligning nursing priorities with Network goals and collaborating with health system leaders to address complex clinical and operational challenges. Job Description The Center for Pain Medicine is a high-volume specialty clinic with multiple satellite clinics that focuses on a variety of chronic pain diagnoses. The Center for Pain Medicine provides holistic care to include procedural intervention, infusions, psychology services and medication management. The Center for Pain Medicine also collaborates with the department of Psychiatry to provide infusion therapy for a select group of patients. The clinical nurse provides care for patients with multiple or complex pain management needs. They provide advanced clinical skills in assessing, treating, and evaluating patients with chronic pain. They facilitate an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to the treatment of patients and will assist with patient inquiries in person, via phone, and electronic health record messaging.
