Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 - The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the primary care practice and the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position is responsible for coordinating clinical workflows, triaging patient calls, supporting providers, and overseeing clinical staff to ensure proper coverage and adherence to protocols. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a resource and mentor for medical assistants and nursing staff, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and manages administrative and clinical responsibilities, including patient education, prior authorizations, and vaccine/medication management. Partner with the Practice Manager and clinical team to develop, review, and update triage and clinical care protocols. Facilitate physician-to-physician referrals to assist patients in obtaining timely appointments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational performance. Oversee vaccine and medication management, including storage, inventory, ordering, and regulatory reporting.
