Primary Patient Population Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients Level 1 Trauma Center Primary Skills Utilized/learned Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating & drinking Answering call lights & taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed). Performing/transmitting basic ECG and phlebotomy. Personnel PCNA Will Work With RNs, LPNs, Nurse Interns, Paramedics, Behavioral Observers (BO), Providers. Preferred Qualifications Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position). 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
