As a Special Procedures Nurse, you will provide goal-directed nursing care that is individualized to the needs of patients and families during health and illness. Under the direction of an attending physician or licensed independent practitioner, the RN provides technically complex nursing care for patients undergoing specialized procedures. Responsibilities include moderate sedation, intravenous infusions, specialized monitoring during procedures and recovery, comprehensive patient assessment, documentation, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. The RN may also serve as Charge Nurse for the assigned unit.
