Monday - Friday 8am-430pm Time split between our Saint Luke's Plaza and East locations Opportunity to work remotely 2 days a week after your 90 day introductory period! RN MO and KS, or compact license required BLS required Looking for a strong team player with a positive attitude who can clearly communicate with patients in person and over the phone. Experience in procedures/preop/PACU/ GI Lab and/or clinic preferred. The Opportunity Our Surgery Team is seeking a RN to join their team! You will primarily be responsible for phone triage, scheduling surgeries, patient education and placing orders. In clinic setting: Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Provide telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care. Schedule emergent need patient appointments, identify learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, insert intravenous access with medication administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need. Delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. Serve as subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. Enter admission orders as directed by provider. Manage expired samples. Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Provide excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
